Rotation #2 Book
by

2008
Artists were asked to add to this book "High Altitudes" in collage.
I was the first person to work on this book after Ro started it . . .
thus there are only two entries as it passed through Still Water Bindery . . .
Here is the introduction to this book:
Mountains . . . Centers of Power
The Mayans believed that mountains were the most sacred features of the landscape and that they served as transitions between the physical world and the spirit world. I believe this to be true in my own life for mountains have played a significant role in my life here in Vermont and elsewhere. Their magic for me lies in the array of diversity they convey through their beauty, their magnificence, and their ability, regardless of height, to cause one's heart to sing with joy. If one can share that experience even once in their lifetime with someone they truly love, then one has exulted in one of life's purest forms of happiness. Even if it was only for a moment.
